HyDrive HyDrive Energy has grown from a relatively obscure enhanced energy water to a full-fledged energy drink and product company, now able to be found in convenience stores everywhere. A Alertness Kiwi Strawberry Size: 15.5oz bottle Location Acquired: Rob's ShurSave, Great Bend, PA Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This is a water-based energy drink, formulated for alertness; the flavor has a little bit of an odd after-feeling/taste, but overall is tasty. Energy is ok. Açai Size: 11oz bottle Location Acquired: Convenience store, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 2/10 Review: This was the first HyDrive I found; back when they only made weird water things. The flavor isn't that great; although it is refreshing in an odd way. Energy wasn't much. Casaba Lime Size: 11oz bottle Location Acquired: Big Lots, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 2/10 Review: This is another in HyDrive's original series; the flavor still has that odd throat feeling aftertaste, but is better than the açai. Energy wasn't much. Chews Orange Size: Bag of chews Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The Highrise Taste Rating: 7/10 Energy Rating: 2/10 Review: HyDrive recently came out with energy chews; these I picked up before the After-Prom Party. Taste was pretty good, texture was alot better than other chews I've had, energy wasn't much. Dragonfruit Size: 11oz bottle Location Acquired: Big Lots, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 2/10 Review: This didn't really taste like other dragonfruits I've had; and still had that signature HyDrive afterfeeling/taste/throat attack thing. Being water-based, though, it's still somewhat refreshing. Energy wasn't much. E Electrolyte (later, Endurance) Lemon Lime Size: 15.5oz bottle Location Acquired: Rob's ShurSave, Great Bend, PA Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This is formulated with electrolytes; and is a lemon lime (aren't all electrolyte drinks?). With these enhanced formulations, the taste improved somewhat; energy is ok. When HyDrive changed their design, this flavor was renamed E Endurance. Kiwi Lime Size: 15.5oz bottle Location Acquired: Big Lots, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 8/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: HyDrive recently upgraded their original series to the size of their enhanced series; and this is the new reincarnation of Casaba Lime. Kiwi Lime is a delicious flavor; and that aftertaste is not so prevalant anymore with this one. Energy was ok. Pomegranate Size: 11oz bottle Location Acquired: Big Lots, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 2/10 Review: The last in the original series, this one also seemed far from its namesake flavor, and had that same aftertaste throat attack. Still, refreshing; energy wasn't much. S Strength Blue Raspberry 15.5oz bottle Size: 15.5oz bottle Location Acquired: Rob's ShurSave, Great Bend, PA Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 8/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This one is formulated for Strength; and is one of the most delicious of the enhanced line. Taste is good, almost free of that afterattack; energy was ok. V Vitamin Citrus Burst Size: 15.5oz bottle Location Acquired: Rob's ShurSave, Great Bend, PA Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This one has Vitamins in it. Duh. Taste wasn't bad, citrus covers up the aftertaste well. Energy was ok. X Antioxidant Triple Berry Size: 15.5oz bottle Location Acquired: Rob's ShurSave, Great Bend, PA Location in Collection: The Mob Taste Rating: 5/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: The last in the enhanced line, this has antioxidants in it.
