Clif Shot Bloks Although Clif is one of those granola companies who seem to be under the delusion that protein and carbs provide energy, they conceded to truth and added caffeine to some flavors of their electrolyte chews. I'm not sure what Clif's target consumer group is, but they sure as heck have a low tolerance to caffeine if they get energized by these things. Then again, these are the people who claim to get energized by protein, carbs, and electrolytes, so you can see who we're dealing with... These things have the consistency of old Jello. Once you get past the texture, though, they're not entirely bad. Energy? From 25mg caffeine? PER BAG? Yeah right. Although I did feel the electrolytes...NOT!
