180 Energy Drink

Açai
Size: 8.4oz can
Location Acquired: McLanahan's, State College, PA
Location in Collection: The Army
Taste Rating: 7/10
Energy Rating: 3/10
Review:
This drink has an interesting can design; one side is printed upside down. The flavor is frothily carbonated Açai berry, which comes off as a generic mixed berry with heavy blueberry undertones. The small size saves it from becoming boring. As far as energy, its size becomes its curse. A relatively weak energy blend, this drink may provide a boost for lightweights, but for a seasoned caffeine junkie, this yields no more than a tiny sugar rush.

Orange Citrus Blast Sugar Free
Size: 8.4oz can
Location Acquired: Family Friend
Contributor: Tom Bean
Location in Collection: The Army
Taste Rating: 5/10
Energy Rating 3/10
Review:
This is the first sugar free 180 I've tried. I, like every energy collector, have learned to be wary of citrus flavored drinks, and doubly so with sugar free citrus flavored drinks. However, this drink manages to throw off that stigma, achieving an overall pleasant orange flavor, which blends well with and helps hide the sucralose aftertaste. It only scored less because, well, it doesn't have real sugar. As far as energy, not much to speak of unless you're used to drinking Pepsi.
